Some Quality Time with Lizzy & Rich
During our stay in California, we celebrated Father’s Day and Rich’s birthday by grilling and hanging out. The day started out how we usually start out; up at 5:00 am to nurse and eat some Os, sit at the table with Grandma and Grandpa like a big girl, watch a little Yo Gabba Gabba and then time for a morning nap. Charlee’s morning nap is one – two hours then it is time for solids and a walk. Here she is ready to go. Our walk is usually down the hill to Starbucks for an iced green tea and some chit chat with the locals then back up the hill. By the time we get back it is time to play and then another short nap. I love this dress. I’m a huge fan of green (always have been) and you don’t come across many green clothing items for girls. When I saw this, I couldn’t pass it up. She looks good in greens, browns, oranges and yellows.
Then we usually run our errands for the day. After errands it is time to go outside. Charlee loves being outside. My parents have a great backyard; not too big, not too small and plenty of shade. We lay a blanket down, get some of her toys, the dogs join her and life is good. She also spends a lot of time in her little pool. Here she is cuddling with Lizzy after spending about an hour in the water. I even feed her while she is in it — she just loves the water. I am super excited that she does because I love to swim too and can’t wait to teach her to swim!
My brother even got in on the action! Do you blame him?
And before my brother left for the day, he gave Charlee a mohawk. I love this photo. She looks like a true bad ass, hard core! There is something funny about her expression!
And who could resist a good old fashion butt shot! I couldn’t!
