I’ll Be There … `

I’ve been reflecting on the past year, and I can’t help but be grateful for all the support we’ve received from family and friends. We had a great year that included a lot of change:

  • Parenthood
  • Starting a business
  • Growing the business
  • Returning to work after maternity leave
  • Quitting job and starting a new job
  • Putting our house on the market
  • Praying our house sells (still…)
  • Buying a new home
  • Moving to a new area
  • Settling in our new home
  • Etc…

Actually, Mike and I LOVE change, and this one has been very positive. I like the excitement of it and enjoy the support that comes with it. We’re so blessed with amazing family and friends. I can’t express our gratitude. The support we’ve received has come in many forms, and we’re so very thankful for all of it.

Thank you for:

  • Your prayers
  • Your friendship
  • Your phone calls
  • Your letters
  • Your encouragement
  • Your babysitting
  • Your love
  • Your help
  • Your smiles
  • Your laughs

The list goes on and on.

If we can support her 25% of what our families have done for us, she will be one lucky girl. I hope she will always know we’re there for her. All she has to do is think of the song, “I’ll Be There” by Jackson 5. I can’t get the lyrics out of my head…”just look over your shoulder honey, wooooooooo!”

I wonder what Charlee will think of change when she gets older. Will she be like her mom and dad? So far it seems like it. She is a “go with the flow” type of gal!
